How do I Register?
Click on the "Register Here" Button located on the Left Navigation Bar. The Registration Page will ask for your Contact, Payment and Shipping information. Registration is FREE, you will only be billed for auctions that you win.

How do I bid and win an item?
First, you need to become a member. See "How do I register?" After registering, you can browse our open auctions and select the products you would like to bid on. Simply enter your User Name & Password and follow the prompts and place your bid. Once you've bid follow the auction closely to monitor how you are doing. We will email you if and when you are outbid. You can also check out our Auction Tracking feature to add to your auction enjoyment. Bidding is FREE, you will only be charged for items that you win.

What is Proxy Bidding and how does it work?
Proxy Bidding is an optional feature that allows you to place a maximum bid on an item. This way you do not have to be present to raise your bid to the next acceptable level if someone else outbids you. If someone does outbid you, the Proxy Bid acts on your behalf and raises your bid to the next highest level. Proxy Bid will continue to raise your bid until your maximum bid amount is reached. In the event of ties, the Proxy Bid is the winning bid. The Proxy Bid is entered on the individual item pages. View all of your bidding activity on the 'Track Your Auctions' page.

What if I forget my password?
Click Here and enter your E-mail Address and select submit. We will email your password to the email account that you registered with. There is also a "Forgot My Password" link on the login page.

How do I change my E-mail address, Password, or update my billing or shipping information?
To make changes to your existing account, including changing your E-mail address & Password, please go to the auction home page, Log In and select "Edit Registration." You will be forwarded to the Membership Section of the website.

How do I know I've won?
If your bid is successful, you will see a page that tells you that your bid has been accepted and will receive a bid confirmation email. Via email, you will receive an outbid notice. You may also check the status by clicking on the Auction results button and you will view the current winners in order of priority. If you are not on the winner's list you have not won this auction.

In which time zone do auctions end?
All auctions end in Central Standard Time. We also have the "ROCK CLOCK" and individual item countdowns for your convenience.

Is it better to bid early in the auction?
Definitely since a bid placed early cannot be bumped by a subsequent bid for larger quantities unless the later bid is at a higher bid level. Your entry time into the auction is when you place your FIRST bid in that auction. Bid early and bid often.

In the event of a tie, what criteria are used to determine the winning bids?
In case of a tie, the highest quantity at the higher price wins. Time of the FIRST successful bid at the winning price - FIRST successful bid at the winning bid level wins over later bids at the same level. An existing Proxy Bid will revert to its original timestamp when it reaches maximum amount thus winning ties.

What credit cards or form of payment do you accept?
We accept major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. All Credit cards are processed on secure software to ensure your privacy and eliminate any risk to you.

Where do I find information and specifications on auction products?
Product descriptions, brand names, specifications and other relevant information are on each product page.

Can I cancel/delete/rescind my bid?
Once you have placed a bid, you may not cancel/delete/rescind it. Each bid drives other bidders to place new bids or increase the price they're willing to pay for an auction item. It would be unfair to drive the price up for others, then remove the bid. If you've made an entry error, contact our Customer Service Department immediately at info@rockbottomauctions.com. The bid may be corrected depending on whether the auction is still open and how long the bid has been posted. If the bid has caused other auction participants to lose the item, we may not be able to correct it.

What is your Return Policy?
Returns are accepted within 7 days of product receipt.* A return authorization number must be obtained by contacting us at info@rockbottomauctions.com. All returned merchandise must be in original condition and include the original packaging.

* Returns accepted on merchandise that is defective due to materials or craftsmanship only. Sorry, but we can't accept items returned due to buyer's remorse. Returns of non-defective merchandise may be subject to a 25% restocking fee. Blemished or flawed items are noted, and sold as is. Items returned after the 7 days may be subject to a restocking fee of 33% of the product price, with additional fees for each month beyond the 7 days.
